This form should be used for lien release requests for properties that have previously paid off betterments. If you are looking for a betterment payoff figure as well as a lien release, please use our online Account Closeout Request Form instead.

Please provide the requested information so that we can prepare your Lien Release. Please note that all Lien Release requests require account research and although we endeavor to complete them as quickly as possible they can take up to 7 calendar days to process in some cases.

Property Owners are responsible for paying applicable Registry of Deeds filing fees to the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
